ABOUT THE FOUNDER
THE PRINCIPAL
Our founder, Ai Ling Kong, graduated from Walsh University, Ohio, USA in the year 1989 with an Honors Degree in Elementary Education (K-8).
She has been showcased in America’s Who’s Who Magazine as the Most Creative Crafts Student in Walsh University, honored alongside other achieved students in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and also titled as The Creative International Student Teacher in St Paul Elementary School, Ohio, USA.
Before Goshen, Kong was an English Teacher of Foon Yew High School in Johor Bahru, a principal at Holy Light Church’s Kindergarten for nine years, a counselor at Agape Counseling Centre in Johor, and was also author and editor of numerous children’s books.
In her earlier career years, Kong was invited to appear on television programs in Singapore to speak about Child Development. Today, she frequently speaks about Parenting and Child Development in schools, learning centers, and churches.
In 1996, the very first Goshen Kindergarten was established in culmination of her accomplished research, skilled knowledge, and proven teaching methods. Graduates from the Goshen syllabus have proven to excel in Primary Schools, both in Singapore and Malaysia (Kebangsaan and Chinese), and also in Private, International, and Home Schools.
